London man found guilty of charity fraud

A retired bank manager has been convicted after fraudulently raising funds on behalf of a diabetes charity.

Arthur Bennett of South Norwood in London was found guilty at Kingston Crown Court of acting as a trustee of a charity whilst disqualified by the Charity Commission.

The Association of Children's Hospices (ACH) has appointed a new Head of Corporate Fundraising.

Julian Hall is to become the new Head of Corporate Fundraising for the Bristol-based Association of Children's Hospices. He takes up the position on 16 June.

He is moving from his current position as Development Director of At-Bristol.
