This memorable celebration took place on Thursday 30 June at Chartered Accountant’s Hall where various charities were honoured for demonstrating excellence and innovation in online financial reporting.
The Awards were designed to encourage charities to make their websites and annual accounts and reports more attractive and accessible to beneficiaries, donors and other 'stakeholders' in the charity sector.
They aim to increase transparency by rewarding best practice in annual financial reporting, raise the standard of web-based reporting for greater impact and accessibility and encourage more charities to do their financial reporting online.
