Children's charity NSPCC has appointed fundraising communications specialists The Good Agency to improve and reinvigorate their donor engagement and loyalty activity.
The NSPCC's annual Letter from Santa campaign raised £1.82 million, including Gift Aid, at the end of 2012. This is an increase from the £1.7 million it raised in 2011.
A spontaneous campaign last week on Facebook has resulted in the NSPCC gaining 50,000 new Facebook supporters and around £100,000 in donations in just 48 hours.
