Online giving site CharityGiving has been suspended while the Charity Commission continues its statutory inquiry into The Dove Trust, the registered charity which runs the service.
Based on information from the Serious Organised Crime Agency, the Charity Commission has alerted charities to a credit card scam and is advising them to look out for suspicious transactions.
I am currently researching grant making trusts, including the John Laing Charitable Trust. I was interested to note that the accounts are incomplete. Page 14 is missing.
