The Sunday Times Rich List is a bit late this year, and I hope to be able to let you know when it is ready.

In the first two weeks of April, The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) will undertake another survey of the public and charities.

Bill Gates' 13-year reign as the wealthiest man on the planet, according to Forbes magazine, is over.

It is still possible to search older editions of the online Sunday Times Rich List, even though this is not immediately obvious when you visit the STRL website.

Every now and again, when I am researching local wealthy/well-connected people, I look at local authority members interests. Sometimes local councillors are wealthy and well connected people.

Further improvements to the Charity Commission Register “continue to develop” and the Charity Commission expects that they will be released in the Spring - probably around April.

In 2006, I was told that the Charity Commission proposed to improve its website (making it as good as the advanced search facility available via Guidestar UK?). In July 2007, the website relaunch actually saw a search function removed!
