The Daily Telegraph reports that a woman aged 102 has appeared in a nude fundraising calendar to raise funds for her local football club, Ancaster Athletic in Lincolnshire.
Hats off, and everything else presumably, to great-great grandmother Nora Hardwick.
Fundraising is eternal: there is never enough money to achieve that a charity wants or needs to achieve, so fundraising is a permanent, ongoing process.
And the first 2007 charity Christmas card catalogue to arrive this year comes from... East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH). It arrived this morning.
Crisis is already urging companies to avoid sending printing Christmas cards this year. In a newspaper advert it is even offering them an incentive to do so.
