Tip 10: Personalise as much as possible – though make sure it’s cost effective!

One of my colleagues asked me the other day why I bothered writing a personal message in each of the Christmas cards I was sending to donors. She wanted to know “Why don’t you just sign them?”

I am torn between staring at the blog counter of Never Seconds - food blog written by a 9 year old Martha Payne, following #neverseconds hashtag on Twitter and trying to write this blog post.

Yesterday Google has rolled out new feature on their fairly new social network Google+ - Google+ branded pages.

Whether marketing tools are being used for commercial or non-profit aims, one of the 'given' rules of the last few years is that society (ie; our target audiences) is just too sophisticated to take anything we say at face value.

This week the team of JustGiving has announced the launch of new Facebook app. We have tested it and shared our initial thoughts, but I would love to hear what others think about it.
