Our client, Northern Ireland Hospice Care (NIHC), has been established for over 25 years and is a leading provider of specialist palliative care for adults and children with life limiting and life threatening illnesses. The charity has ambitious plans to modernise and further develop its services, which include the provision of a new adult hospice for Northern Ireland, and wishes to appoint a Campaign Director to lead a major fundraising appeal in support of these endeavours.
The appointment will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this visionary and challenging programme and we are seeking a creative and strategic individual with a proven track record of senior management experience gained within a public, private, voluntary or community sector organisation. The successful appointee will possess excellent negotiation skills and be able to build and maintain productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, while at the same time establishing a high profile agenda that elicits maximum buy-in.
Ideally, you will be a senior fundraiser with demonstrable experience of having personally secured substantial major gifts, if not you will certainly have a proven track record of generating significant income streams for an organisation. You will also be able to demonstrate sound leadership, project management and interpersonal skills.
In return you will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package and the opportunity of securing the provision of a most worthwhile facility for our local community.
