The Foundation is a new Showcase Original comedy series from Michael Dowse, the creator of FUBAR and It's All Gone Pete Tong. It premiered in Canada on 13 September 2009.
It features a selfish, incompetent director called Michael Valmont-Selkirk. Apparently the storylines are based on real events in the charity sector.
I've not seen it yet, but I've been looking forward to a TV series that featured charity fundraising, or grantmaking. The sector is rich in amusing characters and situations.
